“Allow yourself to always be both, concurrently: a work in progress and a masterpiece.”
Born and raised in Southern California, Alex will always be a California girl at heart. She grew up in Newport Beach attending Newport Harbor High School (fun fact: she married her high school sweetheart!) and later graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in Psychology. By day, she is a Project Manager in the Grid Technology and Modernization organization at Southern California Edison, which basically means she gets to do really cool things with some very brilliant people!
Fitness truly is a lifestyle, so when she’s not teaching you can find Alex either running for her own cardio endurance or doing some form of HIIT training or Pilates. Also, a fun fact; Alex has been competitively showing Arabian horses since the age of 5! On the weekends you’ll find her riding her horse, Rosie, which will hopefully be hitting the show ring again this year or spending quality time with her husband or her family.
Music has always been a huge part of Alex’s life, starting at a very young age in both dance and orchestra where she played the flute (classically trained, too!). She loves the sense of power music can provide to the soul –music truly can be the best medicine! Alex describes herself as music agnostic, loving all genres of music from alternative and rock, to hip hop and electronica and even the occasional pop song!
Favorite moves on a bike (besides all of them) would include: a quick travel or a fast motorcycle and a heavy push/tap. Alex hopes her clients leave class feeling powerful knowing they chose to accept challenge with a “yes” and a willingness to embrace their inner Rockstar!! Give her 45 minutes and she will inspire you to unleash the most powerful and true version of yourself!
